Christmas is upon us!!!
I started pulling decorations out.
Norah was obsessed with the wooden shoes.
She wears her Anna dress EVERY DAY!  EVERYWHERE!!
The wooden shoes were a nice added touch.

We went to visit with Santa today.
I wasn't sure how Norah would do...
I was pretty confident she was going to be scared like last year, but she had been so confident when talking about sitting on Santa's lap lately, that I thought, just maybe, she would be ok with the idea.
We coached her and told her she just had to sit on his lap for a minute, he would ask her 3 questions...

1) What do you want for Christmas?
2) Have you been a good girl this year?
3) Will you smile for the camera?

She always agreed that it would be easy peasy & there was nothing to be afraid of...
up to the second she stood next to him, she was ok.
I would be lying if I told you we didn't bribe her with the merry-go-round.
"Norah, if you don't cry, we will go on the merry-go-round."
Well, she tried her best to hold back the tears, but she certainly wasn't thrilled with the idea of sitting on Santa's lap.

With Piper, I had visions of the big smiles Norah gave Santa the first time she sat on his lap.
Not so much...
...she wasn't too sure about him, but she didn't cry...
...until Norah stopped crying... then Piper started.

Needless to say, Norah didn't ever tell Santa what she wanted.
We got the picture and moved on to the merry-go-round.
We will be writing him a letter for Bing {her elf} to take back to Santa.
